India’s animal welfare conversation is at a turning point. When we include animals in our development narrative, the impact ripples outward, strengthening our climate goals, improving public health, and building a safer, more resilient food system.
Leaders across sectors convene to place animal welfare at the centre of India’s climate, health, and economic future. Join us!
And other leaders from the judiciary, public policy, FMCG, finance, government, banking, education, telecommunications, pharma, social sector, and the media

India Karuna Collaborative (IKC) unites people and organisations to seize a critical chance in our lifetime to end animal suffering, mitigate climate change, and create a healthier world for all. We do this by unifying voices, raising awareness, and changing narratives.
More than 45 organisations are members of IKC, and 75 prominent leaders from various walks of life have taken the IKC pledge.
I believe that animals are sentient beings and that human, animal, and planetary well-being are interconnected. When animals suffer, people and the planet suffer too. I pledge to do my best to reduce animal suffering.
